About Me

Mic Kuschel is a Freelance Designer & Creative Strategist by day. Her fine art practice helps maintain her creativity, fresh thinking, and enthusiasm towards all things life and work.

Her current practice explores human emotion, and how it can be communicated visually through semi-realistic depictions of people, movement, objects, and so on.

Mic was born in Minnesota, USA in 1997. At 10 her family moved them to Tashkent, Uzbekistan, where she stayed until just before turning 19. For some time in 2016 and 2017 she lived in Hong Kong and studied Design at Savannah College of Art & Design followed by a short internship at Tilton School in New Hampshire, USA. Following her internship in NH, she moved back to Minnesota to finish her undergraduate, which she completed in 2020. After some more time to dedicate to her fine art practice, she intends to go back to school for a masters in the fine arts, ideally overseas.
